The Kirklee Hotel is situated in
Glasgow's leafy West End.
Set in award winning gardens, the hotel forms part of Kensington Gate, a sepentine of red sandstone town houses, opposite a private park. The terrace was designed by David Barclay in 1902 and is built in the grand style of town houses of the period.
The hotel has the ambience and character of a large Edwardian home. All the public rooms retain the original style with period furniture and a fine collection of paintings and etchings by Scottish and International artists.
Location
The Kirklee is situated in a quiet residential area of Glasgow's West End. However, it is only a few minutes walk from the sights and nightlife of the West End.
The hotel is also ideally situated for public transport to take you into central Glasgow.
Great Western Road, the main route to Loch Lomond and the Highlands, is only yards away but out of earshot.
Food and Drink
At The Kirklee your first luxury of the day is bedroom service for breakfast.
Each guest can look forward to breakfast arriving at their door without fuss at the time arranged, and can enjoy a relaxing meal in privacy and comfort.
This is the only meal of the day served in the hotel. For your other meals there is a wide range of restaurants, ethnic and traditional, within walking distance and sample menus are available.
The hotel has a restricted licence and guests may enjoy a quiet refreshment either in their room or in the guest lounge.

The hotel is very convenient for the Botanic Gardens, Art Galleries, the Museum of Transport and Kelvin Hall. Glasgow city centre, just 10 minutes away, offers historic buildings, shopping malls and a host of other attractions.
